About

Creating art has always been a predominant force in my life. Although most of my time has been spent creating art quilts, I’m also interested in mixed media. Whether in fabric or paint, my work is mostly centered around the human form and/or portrait.  I like my pieces to draw the viewer in for a closer look at the material and process details used to create surface design, texture, and form.

Rust dying is another one of my interests and I am continually refining my process to enhance the transfer of rust to fabric to create unique surface designs.

My techniques include sewing, quilting, painting, dying, weaving, monoprinting, sculpting, laminating, and assemblage.

I have a BS in chemistry and use an experimental approach to my work.

I live in Lake Elsinore, CA
